From $240 to $77,000 in Annual Commitments

THE CHALLENGE: I am a Nonprofit Etiquette Coach. I came to A. Margot self-funding the workshops usually for free or donations. I desired to bring my programs into the school districts in New York but did not know how to initiate this. Additionally, I hoped my six board members would be open to increasing their dues from $240 per member to $1000.

THE SOLUTION: Margot created a strategy to increase board dues. She crafted a compelling pitch for donors and proposed increasing board dues to $1000/member plus a pledge for each of the six members to recruit 10 additional donors to match their $1000 annual commitment.
